The photos in this fine art chapbook are an exploration of the ancient rock art, pictographs and petroglyphs, of the Great Gallery of Horseshoe Canyon, in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. The photos were taken on a cold, grey, and overcast day in late October, 2009, during a solo hike into the canyon. With these photos I hope to share some of the awe and mystery I felt at visiting such an ancient and sacred site.
