About the Prints and Printing Process
For all of the fine art prints offered via this website, up to A2 (16.5″ x 23.4″) paper size, I personally print each one using the finest archival inkjet papers and Epson UltraChrome K3 pigment-based inks. Paper selection depends on whether I am printing color or black and white. I generally use Moab Lasal Exhibition Luster 300 gsm paper for color prints and Harman by Hahnemuhle Glossy Baryta 320 gsm paper for black and white prints, though exceptions may occur.
Each of my fine art prints is printed individually after the order is received and the final print is signed in the lower right corner below the image (or on the image, depending on print layout). I prefer to sign my prints using pencil, although some glossy paper surfaces may require signing with ink. Finished prints receive a spray coating of sealant, such as Moab Desert Varnish, to resist UV exposure, as well as fingerprints, scratches and scuffing during handling.
About Signature Edition Fine Art Prints
My current release of fine art prints, referred to as Signature Edition prints, are produced as an open edition of signed and numbered prints and use a specific page layout. The Signature Edition print layout includes the image, as well as a title, copyright, and other (provenance) information displayed below the image. As noted above, prints are signed in the lower right corner just below the image.
Since this is a collectible print edition, the layout includes the provenance information: print edition and printing date; open edition print number; image source and artistic work completion dates; and print media info. Please note that the gallery thumbnails and preview images on this website will generally not show the print layout.

About Classic Prints
I use the term, Classic, in reference to a line of basic prints produced without any of the layout formatting in the Signature Edition series of prints. Classic prints are produced to the same high archival standard as Signature Edition prints and are signed in the lower right corner of the print.
Classic Print Sizes
Classic prints are available as print-only in the following sizes & prices:
Print Size Name | Paper Size | Maximum print dimensions | Price |
Classic 11X14 | 11 x 14 inches | 11 x 14 inches | $125.00 USD |
Classic 13X19 | 13 x 19 inches | 13 x 19 inches | $145.00 USD |
Classic 16X20 | 16 x 20 inches | 16 x 20 inches | $165.00 USD |
Print dimensions listed are for a cropped image. For Classic prints I will attempt to resize and crop the image to the specified dimensions/ratio, however, cropping may not work well with some compositions. In such cases, the image will be resized but will maintain the original ratio to match that displayed in the gallery preview image.
Shipment of Your Print and Framing Suggestions
The Popular and smaller sized Classic prints will be enclosed in a clear bag with backing board and shipped flat in appropriate packaging. The Master, Gallery, and larger sized Classic prints will be loosely rolled with protective cover sheet and shipped in a heavy-weight tube.
After receiving a rolled print and removing it from its shipping tube, I recommend allowing the print to uncurl naturally for 24 hours. Afterwards, carefully unroll the print, lay it flat on a clean surface, lay the protective sheet on top of the print, followed by a sheet of cardboard weighted down with several books. The print should flatten out nicely after a day or two. If you prefer, have your framer perform these steps.
For framing, I recommend a simple black frame and white mat. When cutting the mat, you could choose to reveal only the image or to reveal image, title and signature.
Please note that I travel extensively and will service your order as quickly as possible, but there may a short wait for you custom crafted prints. Use the Contact Form below if you require a faster turnaround, and I will do my best to meet your deadline.
